About us
We are three generations of women who had this crazy idea to transform a 1948 school bus into a mobile espresso business. Our vision began with a passing conversation about espresso carts and coffee shops, and how there weren't very many mobile espresso units at the fairs and markets we visited. Sure, there were a few coffee carts and trailers here and there, but nothing that caught your eye, enticed your nose, and left your tongue begging for more. Nor, were there baristas that made you forgive an average cup of coffee for a great personality.
Elizabeth had always dreamed about owning her own business, but life and responsibility always seemed to push that dream to the "back burner". When her daughter Melissa finished her degree in Business Management, the talk about opening a mobile espresso business became more serious.
After a few more conversations and cups of coffee the Shot Bus Mobile Espresso was born. During our conversations about the Shot Bus we began to realize that we had the same vision for how it should look and what we felt was important to our coffee experiences.
We spent a few more months researching and talking about the business. We had talked so much about the Shot Bus that Savannah (the youngest generation) finally said "why don't you guys stop talking about it and start your business already" in such a matter-of-fact manner that we were at a loss for reasons not to "just do it".
